Lady's Finger Fry

Lady's Finger Fry
Have this dry with Sambar Rice  



Ingredients 
  • Lady's Finger - 250 gm
  • Chili Powder - 2 tsp
  • Coriander Powder - 1 tsp
  • Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Lime juice - 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste



Seasoning
  • Mustard - 1 tsp
  • Black Urad Dal, split - 1 tsp
  • Cumin - 1/2 tsp
  • Onion (if u like) - 1 , cut into thin stripes
  • Curry Leaves - 1 twig
  • Oil - 2 tbsp




Method
  • Slit Lady's Finger lengthwise into four and keep it for drying at least for half-an-hour.
  • Mix chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, lime juice  and salt.
  • Mix with the lady's finger pieces.
  • Marinate the lady's finger for half-an-hour.
  • Do the seasoning. 
  • Add onion if you like. Onion gives the fry a sweet taste. Most wont like it.   
  • Add the marinated pieces and fry.
