Curd Rice


Favorite south Indian dish
Easy to make
Have with any pickles or Potato-Brinjal Curry



Ingredients

Raw Rice or Par-Boiled Rice - 1 cup
Curd - 1 cup
Salt

For Seasoning

Green Chilly - 1 sliced to bits
Ginger - 1 inch piece sliced
Coriander leaves, Curry Leaves
Mustard - 1/4 tsp
Split Urad Dal - 1/4 tsp
Asafoetida - 1/4 tsp
Raisins(Kismis) - 4 or 5
Little oil


Method

Cook rice well.
Smash it with spoon.
Add salt, curd. Mix.
In the kadai, add oil and seasonings.
Pour it over the rice.
Mix it well.
