Have this dry with Sambar Rice
Ingredients
- Lady's Finger - 250 gm
- Chili Powder - 2 tsp
- Coriander Powder - 1 tsp
- Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
- Lime juice - 1 tsp
- Salt to taste
Seasoning
- Mustard - 1 tsp
- Black Urad Dal, split - 1 tsp
- Cumin - 1/2 tsp
- Onion (if u like) - 1 , cut into thin stripes
- Curry Leaves - 1 twig
- Oil - 2 tbsp
Method
- Slit Lady's Finger lengthwise into four and keep it for drying at least for half-an-hour.
- Mix chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, lime juice and salt.
- Mix with the lady's finger pieces.
- Marinate the lady's finger for half-an-hour.
- Do the seasoning.
- Add onion if you like. Onion gives the fry a sweet taste. Most wont like it.
- Add the marinated pieces and fry.
