Onion Chutney

 Onion Chutney



Ingredients
  • Shallots - 5 in number
  • Red Chilli - 1 
  • Tomato - 2
  • Salt to taste

For Seasoning
  • Mustard - 1/4 tsp
  • Urad Dal - 1/4 tsp
  • Asafoedita - 1/2 tsp
  • Curry Leaves - 1 twig
  • Coconut Oil - 1 tsp

Method
  • Cut shallots into thin strips.
  • Fry with little oil, red chilli, cut tomato pieces and add curry leaves, if you want chutney in green color...otherwise its in red.
  • Add salt and little water.
  • Grind coarsely.
  • Keep a kadai on fire. 
  • Do seasoning.

Eat with Dosa / Idli....
