Coconut Chutney

Coconut Chutney






Ingredients

  • Coconut Scrapings - 3 tbsp
  • Tamarind Paste - 1/4 tsp
  • Ginger - 1 inch piece
  • Garlic - 1 clove
  • Green Chilli - 3
  • Salt to taste



For Seasoning

  • Mustard - 1/2 tsp
  • Urad Dal - 1/2 tsp
  • Asafoetida - 1/2 tsp
  • Red Chilli - 1
  • Curry Leaves 
  • Coconut Oil - 2 tsp



Method

  • Grind coconut scrapings, tamarind, salt, ginger, garlic, green chilli to a paste
  • Keep kadai in stove 
  • Pour oil, do the seasoning
  • Well be a side dish for Idli, Dosa, Pongal, Vadai.......
