Sweet Pongal - Charkkarai Pongal

Sweet Pongal 
(சர்க்கரை பொங்கல்)


Raw Rice - 1 cup
Jaggery syrup - 2 cups
Cardamom powdered - 1/2 tsp
Dry Ginger powder - 1 tsp

Coconut scraped  - 1 tbsp 
Ghee to season
Cashew - 10
Kismis - 10


Cook rice with water. For 1 cup add 2 cups of water.
When done, add jaggery syrup, cardamom powder, dry ginger powder.
Heat ghee in tawa. Fry cashew and kismis.
Off the stove.
Add coconut scrapings. 
Mix well with rice mix.
Enjoy the Sweet Pongal.
