Garlic Pepper Curry
Ingredients
Tamarind Paste (1 tsp) or a Tamarind Extract from a lemon sized tamarind
Rock Salt Powder
For Grinding
Tomato (1)
Pepper (10)
Coconut, Desiccated (2 tbsp)
Onion, Small (4) or Big Onion (1/2)
Chilly Powder (1 tsp)
Coriander Powder (2 tsp)
Turmeric Powder (1/2 tsp)
Cumin (1 tsp)
Fennel Seeds (1 tsp)
Asafoedita (1/2 tsp)
Curry Leaves
For Seasoning
Garlic (10 pods)
Mustard (1/2 tsp)
Fenugreek (1/2 tsp)
Cumin (1/2 tsp)
Curry Leaves (1 twig)
Onion, Big (1/2), cut into small pieces or Small Onion (5)
Oil (1tbsp)
Method
Grind finely, with little water, the ingredients given for grinding. Add the onions at the last.
Heat the Kadai
Saute fenugreek, cumin, mustard, curry leaves
Add Garlic and fry in medium fire
After the garlic turned a little brown, add the onions
Add salt and saute well
Add the ground masala
Fry till its raw smell goes
Garlic Pepper Curry is ready!!
